[SOLVED] Completely strip out every iota of Zimbra

How can I remove every single bit of Zimbra right down to the very last file, attribute, lock, stock, barrel and pork rind? I had to interrupt an install at the FQDN specification stage because the Linux files needed to be altered, and Zimbra will not install over the debris of the previous partial install.

have you tried running install.sh --uninstall ?

rm -rf /var/log/*zimbra*
rm -rf /tmp/*zimbra*
rm -rf /tmp/hsperfdata*
rm -rf /tmp/install.*
rm -rf /tmp/*swatch*
rm -rf /tmp/log*

as clean as it gets..

You dont need to clean up so much. Just rm -rf /opt/zimbra should do. what is the issue you are facing ?

Because of my partitioning, with partitions for many of Zimbra's subdirectories under /opt/zimbra, the rm solution was not working, nor was the basic uninstall. I had to do as Raj suggested.
