Default [SOLVED] Email Addresses

Hi All
I am setting up zimbra to function in an active directory environment.
My internal domain is called for example domain.local but in AD, each user has an email address say user@domain.com. I set up zimbra for AD authentication and set up aliases for each user. When I send an email, the mail seems to come from user@domain.local. I want it to come from user@domain.com.
How can I accomplish this?

THanks for any help

Using the canonical address solved my issue.

Thanks
