Default upgrade zimbra from zcs-4.5.11_GA_1751.RHEL4

hi,
I have the zimbra zcs-4.5.11_GA_1751.RHEL4, is it possible upgrade to last release without problem?

Yes, it is. If this is a single server then I'd suggest you shutdown Zimbra, take a backup of /opt/zimbra then download the 5.0.2GA release and read the release notes. When you've done that you should run the upgrade, if that's working OK the shutdown Zimbra and take another backup of /opt/zimbra then upgrade to the current release - do make sure you also read the release notes for any version before you install it.

There are certain version to version upgrades that are supported. These are documented in the release notes, so review them carefully and plan your upgrade path version to version to version carefully.

If you are running any extensions, like Samba and/or Posix LDAP extensions, be certain to search, find, and review any tips for those upgrades before you attempt upgrading.

Definitely practice your upgrades prior to the big "cut night" too. Every setup seems to be a little different from the OS angle, so some dependencies may crop up that can't be predicted here.

FYI, we made multiple upgrade attempts before it worked perfectly, so be diligent with backups so you can fallback, if necessary.

Default UPGRADE PROBLEM from 4.5.11 to 5.0.0

I have a single server with only two domains in standard configuration.
The upgrade from 4.5.11 to 5.0.0 failed!!
