Default Can Zimbra act as SMTP Proxy??

HI all,

I would like to know if it's possible to configure Zimbra to act as an SMTP proxy that relay the incoming/outgoing email to the Zimbra MTA installed inside the LAN.
I'm trying to set up a mail system with the real Mailserver inside the LAN and in the DMZ a Proxy for HTTP/Webmail and SMTP. I've read how to configure Zimbra to proxy HTTP but I've not found any docs about SMTP proxy service.
Thanks

Edika

Zimbra doesn't proxy SMTP requests, but it will relay the messages across servers in a multi-server install to make sure your message hits the mailbox host.

zimbra-proxy and SMTP
Zimbra 5 Proxy + SMTP?

Hope that helps your situation.
