Default Install on server already running LAMP

Good day!

It seems ZCS installs 3rd party software that it needs to /opt/zimbra including Apache, Mysql, Postfix etc.

Is it possible to install ZCS on a Debian system already running some web sites on Apache, MySQL, PHP (installed using normal apt-get procedure) or I need a dedicated machine for ZCS?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums

Really you should run ZCS on its own dedicated server; though saying that it is possible to run on a server with other things installed. MySQL is okay as ZCS runs it on a different port to 3306 anyway, but with respect to Apache the best way to do it would be to shutdown all services first, install ZCS, switch ZCS to only accept HTTPS requests and then run your website over normal HTTP.
