This will be supported with the upcoming 5.0.18 release next week.

Veronica,

Are you actually taking advantage of "CLUSTER" functionality on RHEL5.3 ?

I also installed ZCS 5.0.16 on RHEL5.3 and works great, but it's not working with "Red Hat Cluster Suite - Application/Service Failover".

Brian, Klug.. it sounds pretty cool, is it really comming supported on zcs 5.0.18 ? Why not on 5.0.17 ?

What do you mean by advantage of CLUSTER functionality ?

What error are you getting ? Did you do an zimbra application failover using zmcluctl script ? It would help if you show me the logs of error messages.

There's no 5.0.17.

Based on this bug (see below), RHCS 5 U3 is supported with ZCS 5.0.18.
Bug 39269 – update cluster docs to reflect RHEL5 U3 support for RHCS

For the most part cluster support will work in 5.0.16 on RHEL5. If you have a really long cluster service name then you may have issues with fail-over and/or upgrades, both of which are fixed with 5.0.18.

Excellent! Thank you Veronica, also thank you Brian and Klug.

With: "Are you actually taking advantage of "CLUSTER" functionality on RHEL5.3 ?" I mean, for instance, if you shutdown one node, the Zimbra services still working on the other one.. Application/Service Failover.

Great! There's already 5.0.18 released! I'm gonna have a try.
