Split-DNS /etc/resolv.conf if ZCS and DNS on different machines

Good morning,

I am wondering if the following statement is correct for my setup
(because Zimbra and Bind are installed on different machines/IPs)...


( Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Server (Hardy Heron) Install Guide - Zimbra :: Wiki )

Check /etc/resolv.conf and make sure it looks like this:
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

The IP address here should be the Zimbra box's private ip address.


Question:
Should that not be the IP of the name server(bind)?

It should be the IP address of the DNS server, in the case of the wiki article that is also the Zimbra server IP address.
