Default sending e-mail internally

I can't send email internally from one account to another account created in zimbra, however, if I send email outside (to gmail, hotmail, etc.) it works, I can also receive email from outside (gmail, hotmail, etc)

Also when I create calendar entry no email is generated to invited user.

I have CentOS 5.3 with latest version of Zimbra with split DNS setup. Any ideas what should be checked?

Thanks!

You can check in the Admin UI that the option to 'Use DNS' is actually checked. If it is the post the output of the following commands (run on your Zimbra server):

Code:
cat /etc/hosts
cat /etc/resolv.conf
dig yiurdomain.com mx
dig yourdomain.com any
host `hostname` <-- type that exactly and use backticks not single quotes
