Default Creating Domains...

Got my Zimbra server up (FC3) and it all seems to work except... When I go to create a new domain, the dialog comes up, I enter the new domain in the form "example.com", it's not flagged as an error. I can click through the "Next" button on the dialog, the "Finish" button shows enabled, but clicking it does nothing, and there's no error; the dialog just stays there and I have to cancel to clear the dialog.

So is "example.com" (as opposed to "something.example.com") a valid domain name? If it isn't, shouldn't it be flagged as an error? If it is, what have I done wrong?

There is a problem with adding new domains that has been reported. Some people reported it working in Firefox (but not IE). If Firefox doesn't work for you, then you can always use zmprov command line tool to create the new domain.
