Default proxy between network and open source ed

Hi all,

I'm currently looking at zimbra for providing email functionality as part of a small web hosting setup I am trying to grow.

What I would like to do is use network edition for clients who want the provided functionality, but also run zimbra open source for people who arn't interested in the advanced functionality.

The question is... is it possible to use zimbra proxy (or anything else for that matter) so that when a given user connects to a common point (whether webmail, pop, imap, smtp), they get routed automatically to the correct server?

I was looking at the documentation for zimbra proxy and I can see that it provides said functionality, but if I understand it correctly, it's intended for setup involving multiple zimbra network edition servers with a common ldap directory.
