Default Organizer's name in meeting details

We use obscure email addresses (ex: w00005414@cal.wheatonma.edu) and this is a problem when you look at a meeting in your calendar pitched from someone else. Without the meeting organizer's first and last name you can't tell who sent it without fishing through the email invitations and matching things up.

I tried adding an alias email address that is in the form of lastname_firstname@cal.wheatonma.edu and making it the canonical address but that didn't seem to help.

We need the account name to be the obscure one so it will match up with the user's name in Active Directory so we can do Active Directory authentication.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Unfortunately no, we ended up not going with Zimbra and are sticking with our current Calendar and Mail server applications.

Good luck.
