Default sending email via command line?

I appologize in advance for a noob question...

I am looking for a command, like mail(1) which I can use to send email from scripts on my zimbra host.

I do see sendmail as part of the zimbra install, but no mail.

I am guessing that I should just use sendmail??

Well it would depend on which O/S you are using aswell
Code:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v
The obvious one is mailx but you could also use sendEmail.
