Default Zimbra install on openldap?

The normal installation of zimbra is on top of mysql right? Is there a way to keep stuff in a openldap db? Is it also advisable?

It stores information in both OpenLDAP and MySQL.

No, as ZCS has been designed as a complete integrated solution and you would be changing the whole design of the product.

Why do you need everything stored in OpenLDAP anyway ? To integrate with ZCS you can make SOAP calls that will allow you to manage it from another system.
