Default Postfix won't start

I decided to try the 6.0 beta, and something seems to have gone wrong.

Here's the behavior - during startup:

Starting logger...Done.
Starting mailbox...Done.
Starting memcached...Done.
Starting imapproxy...Done.
Starting antispam...Done.
Starting antivirus...Done.
Starting spell...Done.
Starting mta...Failed.
Starting zmmtaconfig...zmmtaconfig is already running.
eval: 1: Syntax error: EOF in backquote substitution
postfix failed to start
Starting saslauthd...done.

Starting stats...Done.

I get the EOF error whether I try 'zmmtactl start', or 'postfix start'.

I'm running the 32 bit Ubuntu8 version:
zcs-6.0.0_BETA1_1397.UBUNTU8.20090415162243
on my Ubuntu Hardy server.

Any ideas on where I can look?

You can start with the log filesand whether you've disabled any mail server that's in Ubuntu, you can also confirm if this is on an 8.04 LTS server plus is it a new install or an upgrade? You can try shutting down Zimbra, make sure there's no other zimbra services running (kill them if there is) then restart ZImbra and check the logs.
