Just to check, you are trying to connect to https://servername:7071 ?
For first time login, use admin@domain.com for whatever domain you created during setup, and the admin password you provided at setup. You need to use the full email address to log in as no default domain has yet been set up.

I have the problem. I tried the command
zmprov sp admin@zimbratest.usic.com XXXXXX
but I still have the same problem. I followed the uninstall tutorial and reinstalled the system clean on a machine dedicated just to zimbra but it still will not let me login. Is there anything else I can try?

How about posting some details of the operating system you're using and what exactly you're trying to do and which version/release of Zimbra you're using?
