Install seems to be hanging

I have followed wiki instruction to install zcs on ubuntu 8.04 it has gone all the way through and has now been sitting at a screen saying

And it has been there for more than 2 hours. How can I check what has gone wrong ?

near the top of the block of text that you have pasted, you should see:
Operations logged to /tmp/zmsetup.05202009-111808.log

that's the log file where everything is really happening, the messages to the console are sort of a summary of events. Have alook at that log to see whats happening 'under the hood'
