wrong display date

Hi all ,
I have upgrade from 4.0.5 to 5.0.14 ( was not so hard thanks for great documents)
anyway i have a small problem , some emails apears with wron sent time/date
and i mean wrong in 30 days in the future .
while looking at the headers i couldnt find any of the related date at the headers.
has anyone had this problem ? could it be related to the upgrade that old date format cannot be read correct ?
