Your first port of call would be bugzilla to search and see if there's any RFE or bug report filed, if there isn't then file one.

It might not be a bad idea to add a link to bug 31872 to this thread.
Even while this thread is more than two years old it still pops up in a search and it might show people the right place to make this request.
