some problems receiving mail in a domain

Ok , the problem is that i named my mail as mail.example.cl (where i did my zimbra installation) , i have created some accounts to test, and i can send and receive mail without any problem.

Then i created another new domain (lets call it test.cl), i can send mail to multiple accounts (gmail, hotmail, etc) , but the problem is that i cannot receive mails from other mail accounts.

the error that it gives me is rcpt , user unknown.

its not a connectivity problem i guess, because if it says that there is no user knowed, its because it can query the server from the internet.

so the problem must be another thing.

i have mx & a records in my dns for this new domain , so probably is not a dns problem.

Are there DNS records for this new domain? Do the users actually exist for this new domain? Why did you name your initial domain as 'mail.example.cl' rather than 'example.cl'? Do search the forums, this type of problem has been covered many times.

yes , there is dns records for the new domain.
i created the new accounts for them
and sorry , my servers name is mail.example.cl, but my initial domain replies as well with example.cl (when i send mails to mails @example.cl from internet , no problems, but when i send one to @test.cl , it says user unknown)

Let's see some diagnostic information about your DNS records. What about some information from the log files showing the exact errors you're getting.

look, this is a extract from the /var/log/zimbra.log when a mail is sent from outside from the primary domain , and get received.

but with my mail from tie.cl , when i try to send out a mail , it keep saying "user unknown" , from srb.cl the same.

can it be a problem with the isp dns entries?

when i use a client like thunderbird, outlook, it fails :S and it doesnt even keep a track of that fail , its so strange problem.

You've provided no information about your DNS diagnostics (internal or external records) and according to this check you have no external records at all.

:S i did that check and resolves ok.

i can receive any mail from gmail.com (even using a mail client like thunderbird) , hotmail.com , even others kind of mail , but im having problem with tie.cl

now im trying to find people with other providers in my country and try to get emails from them.

Heads-up The mail server rejected the email address 'abuse@gestionic.cl' (550 5.1.1 : Recipient address rejected: gestionic.cl). It should have accepted the address.

now thats weird , because i configure the mail for that domain

it seems that from internet is working like mail.gestionic.cl and not like gestionic.cl , how can i make it work like gestionic.cl?

with the full path it doesnt allow relay even, but i need gestionic.cl and not mail.gestionic.cl :S
