Beta 6 - it's alive!

Upgrading from 5.0.11 on U8.04 went fine, no problems. Dealt with the updates between missed releases and was trouble free. The previously installed commercial SSL, existing mailboxes etc all seem to have survived!

There look like some fun things in there, phrases like IM conference room ran passed whilst I watched the install. My lab rats and I will have fun and report back here as it goes.

OK First problem seems to be using an admin view of a users mailbox from the GUI.

When I right click and click View Mail I get an error:

Can't see anything in recent forums about other instances other than one suggesting reindexing, but the account is accessible directly and reindexes fine.

Tried accessing several accounts and a few do allow access most don't, eg the admin account works. However providing admin rights to a user, logging into the admin gui as that user and looking at their own account doesnt work.

Have I missed something that happens elsewhere? Dont want to report a beta bug if in fact it's something that happens elsewhere.

BTW - I like the IM at the bottom of all tabs on the web gui rather than a separate tab.

Also like the preferences in a folder list on the left rather than extending across the tabs. Import calendar/contacts worked fine.

The Sharing folder on the preferences is great, easier to keep tabs on who shared what when!

As I noticed that the version 6 beta has been released, although it's Zimbra Collaboration Suite Network Edition so Is there an open source edition version such as http://h.yimg.com/lo/downloads/5.0.1...0303190551.tgz

Ah, probably because we just copied /products/downloads_network_edition_betas.html when we made /community/downloads_betas.html

(Usually the base url is a clue & we put the word NETWORK in the NE download links themselves.)
