Default [SOLVED] Ubuntu 8.04 Lts Zimbra 5.0.14 Ldap Problem

HI Pleasant day to everyone. I tried Installing zimbra in UBUNTU 8.04 LTS And Im getting LDAP errors.

Hi,

you need to change the conflickting ports by selecting menu 1 ldap port and all other ports with corresponding menu options

Port conflict detected: 80 (zimbra-store)
Port conflict detected: 443 (zimbra-store)
Port conflict detected: 993 (zimbra-store)
Port conflict detected: 995 (zimbra-store)
Port conflict detected: 110 (zimbra-store)
Port conflict detected: 143 (zimbra-store)

I tried changing the ports and i get this error

Failed to start slapd. Attempting debug start to determine error.
daemon: bind(7) failed errno=99 (Cannot assign requested address)
slap_open_listener: failed on ldap://ants.ph:389

Can someone help me out on this thank you

Why do you have all those ports blocked? Do you have any other apps running on the server? If so, you should disable them...

Yep i reinstalled the system thus i expect it to work out fine. Im getting errors upon sh install.sh

./util/utilfunc.sh: 218: Syntax error: Bad for loop variable

I found the solution on my fresh install

I put this command

ln -sf /bin/bash /bin/sh

after i did it

sh install.sh worked

but sadly im encountering this problem

zimbra@mail:~$ zmcontrol start
Host localhost
Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Unable to determine enabled services. Cache is out of date or doesn't exist.
