Default GAL and Active Directory

Hello,

We have exchange 2000 server and we need to replace it in the near future with a new server. We decided to give zimbra a whirl and have it installed as a trial alongside our exchange server. We have setup some users and using the external account feature of the web client, we are able to imap import emails and calendar items. The problem we are having is while on the web client, when we create a new email and click the TO button, there is no email addresses listed, only the user that we created on zimbra. How do we get it to download the global address list? Thanks

Have you received information on this issue. we have migrated from Exchange 2000 to Zimbra 1 year ago. You have to create an external LDAP connection to Windows AD. this requires Authentication so you have to have the same username on AD as you have in External LDAP settings. I know this post is late, but I hope it is helpful
