New Installation Advice

Hello,

I am unsure where to start with a Zimbra installation. Please could someone advise what type of setup this is so I can go and research it.

My Zimbra server will be running on a vmware appliance, bridged LAN using an internal IP address.

My emails currently go to mail.mydomainname.com which is hosted by my hosting company. I use cpanel to setup the email accounts that are then downloaded individually using POP3.

I want to setup Zimbra to take care of all email and use it to setup the individual email addresses etc.

you really should read the documentation that is provided on the Zimbra site. Your questions are so general they may be hard to answer. Once you are familiar with the product, more specific questions will be easier to answer.
