? about zimbra & exchange

I'm going to be running an exchange & zimbra server together. The zimbra server will host most users with the exchange server hosting only 5 in the same domain and another office.

It's currently configured for mail to come into zimbra and then zimbra will forward those 5 users messages on to the exchange box. My question is...does zimbra scan the messages for the down stream exchange server for viruses and spam?

Yes I think it should. Easy to test. just send a message from an external source, to an Exchange user. Check /var/log/zimbra.log for the trace and see if amavis passes it so ClamAV and SA.
