OSX 10.4.6 installation problem

I am trying to install Zimbra on an OSX 10.4.6 client machine but have been running into some issues. Most having to deal with getting the proper hostname configured. In server it's much easier but 10.4 client has changed a few things.

I get the following error message when trying to run ./zmsetup.pl.
"Can't call method "answer" on an undefined value at ./zmsetup.pl line 454"

I've done some searching on the installation forum but came up empty. I've also tried to look at the /tmp/zmsetup.log, but it appears to be empty.

any insight into what this error may mean would be great.

Are you running the script as root?

Yes, I have been. This machine is a clean install of Tiger with all the updates to 10.4.6, including the most recent Java update that makes Java 1.5 standard. I'm using Zimbra 3.1 as well.

Here is what I get when trying to run the setup:

Hello,

one question, do you have a "-" in your domain-name?

I have the same trouble under SUSE10 when i use my domain "sc-kempf.lokal".
I have changed the domain to "sckempf.lokal" in the DNS and the install run without errors. After the install i changed the DNS and make the Settings in zimbra with zmprov.
