Ensure IPTables and SELinux have been disabled, and that your have a valid DNS MX and A record for that installation.

Thanks for reply.

yes both are disabled

# getsebool
getsebool: SELinux is disabled

# getenforce
Disabled

# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

and yes there is no problem with DNS resolution. it is properly configured with A and MX record and not getting nay error related to that while installation.

what else might be the issue?

If we could check your DNS setup though
Code:
cat /etc/hosts
cat /etc/resolv.conf
dig yourdomain mx
dig yourdomain any
host `hostname` <- note backticks and not single quotes

Why does your server have two different names ? One is FQDN and the other is not ??

Do not send private messages with any debug information unless you're invited to do so.

Post the output in the forums when you're asked for information so other members can see it and help with problems.
