Default Zimbra not running after reboot

Hi..

i installed zimbra 5.0.12 on debian etch, After installation it was running fine & then i just rebooted the server after this i'm unable to run zimbra its not starting.

Even its not starting if i run /etc/init.d/zimbra start.

zimbra@debian:~$ zmcontrol start
no connection to syslog available
- /dev/log is not a socket at /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/lib/Zimbra/Mon/Logger.pm line 41

Zmcontrol Status Error:

zimbra@debian:~$ zmcontrol status
Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Enabled services read from cache. Service list may be inaccurate.
Host domain.ac.in
antispam Stopped
zmmtaconfigctl is not running
zmamavisdctl is not running
antivirus Stopped
zmmtaconfigctl is not running
zmamavisdctl is not running
zmclamdctl is not running
ldap Stopped
logger Stopped
logmysql.server is not running
zmlogswatchctl is not running
mailbox Stopped
zmmtaconfigctl is not running.
mysql.server is not running.
zmmailboxdctl is not running.
mta Stopped
zmmtaconfigctl is not running
postfix is not running
zmsaslauthdctl is not running
snmp Stopped
zmswatch is not running.
spell Stopped
zmapachectl is not running
stats Stopped


Plz help me with this..

Default Soleved But still facing some issues..

Hi..

The services has working fine now.. :-) i just restarted sysklogd then restarted zimbra working fine.. now.

zimbra@debian:~$ zmcontrol status

antivirus Running
ldap Running
logger Running
mailbox Running
mta Running
snmp Running
spell Running
stats Running

The new problem is if i try to go to admin console https://mail. domain.com:7071 it says UNABLE CONNECT.. Do i need to do any change in /etc/hosts?


Please Help me..

That would depend on what you have in your hosts file and whether you have valid DNS A & MX records pointing to your server, you should also make sure that the firewall iand SElinx (if you have it) are disabled on the server.
