Default Split_DNS: what FW rules are required that my MX- and A-record are available in DNS ?

Hi,

we are going to test install ZCS in a non direct mail delivery environment.
(downloading mails with fetchmail/POP3 stored at different email-accounts
at different ISPs to our main "Zimbra" account/box (e.g. info@mycompany.com) .
For that test env we will get a(1) dyn Ip from DynDNS.org.

My plan is to add NTP and DNS outbound firewall-rules.

Question:
Are additional rules required that my internal MX- and A-record are available in DNS?

Thank's a lot for any help.

John

Your firewall has nothing to do with the internal DNS resolution of your Zimbra server IP address.
