Default Calendaring only?

I need to implement a calendaring solution at work. We already have email supplied by out parent agency that we have to use. They offer calendaring but it's painful at best.

Anyway, I'd like to use Zimba for calendaring and limited IM. Is this possible? Any tips/tricks I need to be aware of? I've done some searches on here and came up with nothing.

Welcome to the forums

From the Admin GUI you can disable most things people can see using CoS (Class of Service) policies. Remember though Zimbra is a full collaboration suite and it does expect to have the ability to utilise email.
