    You need a split DNS as both myself and Phoenix have said. Your server is on a local IP and when you perform a MX lookup for your domain it is returning the external IP.

    i am connected to a cyberroam that has an IP of 192.168.2.100 and the cyberroam is connected to my ISP which has an IP of 10.0.0.138 and my server is 192.168.2.188

    i have understood the split DNS document and i need bind to resolve my internal IP address of my server since it is my ISP IP address that is displayed.
    how do i use up2date to download bind from the redhat site?
