Default masking username through smtp server

I have an operational 8.04LTS Ubuntu server with Zimbra, bind9, DDNS and a gmail account for an smtp mail relay server.

When I send mail it shows my gmail account name as the sender when it hits the receivers in-box, as I suppose it should. Is there a know method to populate my zimbras email address through the relay server and hide the relay server account?

Default reply doesn't work thorugh mailrelay

I guess a better way to put it is if I send mail via relay through gmail smtp server then when the recipient receives it, and tries to reply, they reply to the gmail relay account rather than the zimbra user.

Any reccomendations??
