LDAP: error code 80 - internal error

Hi!
So I'm trying to putgrade from 3.0.1 to 3.1 Open Source on FC3.

I ran into an install problem as follows:

Checking ldap on localhost:389...

Did you run it twice? If so your LDAP may be gone. We have pulled the release as it seems this problem is wide spread. For now just restore your backup.

How would I browse ldap to see what's there.
I'm trying to restore from a backup, but am running into a TON of problems.

You can use slapcat to dump the LDAP data or an ldap browser if you want to use a GUI. Just google for 'ldap browser' there are lots of free ones.

So, I gots a question.

It looks like my ldap is gone in my backup copy...I dont' know how, because I backed up before I used 3.1

I have several backup copies. Now, can I move over the ldap data to my damaged install and keep my sql data?

You can try. How did you take the backup? The proper way is to stop all the zimbra processes and backup the entire /opt/zimbra
