Default MX and A records.

You need a valid MX and A record for your mail server on a DNS server that your mail server is using to resolve DNS.

Default yes, if I have already recorded registos with my ISP

if I have already recorded my records with my ISP

[root@srvcaxas /]# nslookup
> set type=mx
> dominio.edu.pe
Server: 200.48.x.y (IP DNS my ISP)
Address: 200.48.x.y#53

Non-authoritative answer:
dominio.edu.pe mail exchanger = 10 mail.dominio.edu.pe.

Authoritative answers can be found from:
> exit

[root@srvcaxas /]# ping mx.dominio.edu.pe
/etc/host.conf: line 2: bad command `127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost'
/etc/host.conf: line 3: bad command `200.60.z.w srvcaxas.dominio.edu.pe srvcaxas'
ping: unknown host mx.dominio.edu.pe

whenever I get the latest error

thank

Default Mx

It is looking for an MX record pointing to the FQDN of your mail server. "srvcaxas.dominio.edu.pe"
