Default certificate question

Hi, all

I just notice that several self signed certificates were created during installation and will expire after 1 year. If I do not have commercial certificates ready or recreate self signed certificates in time, will the zimbra installation have full function after certificates expired?

Thanks,

Vincent

Default certificate question

Yes, zimbra web ui's certificates. It seems other zimbra service also using those certificates. Hope my zimbra installation will not stop working after 1 year.

BTW: why I can not use quick reply? I am already a registered user.

Clicking 'quick reply' just enabled the reply box at the bottom of the page, you may not notice anything happen when you press it, or it could be a javascript problem in the browser.

If I recall correctly, the zimbra install will indeed complain when the certs expire but the selfsigned ones can be easily regenerated from the console. Have a look here Recreating a Self-Signed SSL Certificate - Zimbra :: Wiki
