Default Blackberry Enterprise Server

I have a couple of questions perhaps they've been asked already and I just haven't found them or maybe i didn't understand them

I have a client who wants to use Zimbra mail server but they have a lot of blackberry's. Do they need to use the Blackberry Enterprise Server in conjunction with Zimbra or does Zimbra not require the BES server? If it doesn't require a BES server does it offer the same functionality that you would get by having a BES server.

At this time we do not support BES. It's something we are working on and hope to have a solution for in an upcoming release. For now they can use desktop sync with our Outlook Connector and IMAP for over-the-air email.
