Default problem with mysql

hello!i would like to know why mysql doesn´t work in the last version of zimbra to fedora 3 and fedora 4,in both i have the same problems:
1)mysql gives error 22:it can't find an archive,i think it could be that mysql doesn't start when the services start but i don't know how to make it work as a zimbra user.
2)in the installation process it isn't able to resolve the dns,and i have to put another domain name.why?

anybody can help please?thankyou

Are you saying that you've done an upgrade of Zimbra or Fedora and MySQL doesn't work? Is there anything in the logs?

You have to put a new domain name because the Zimbra install can't resolve the hostname, is DNS working on your system and is the hosts file set-up correctly.

How much RAM does your system have and how much memory have you allocated to the fedora VM?

OK, that should be enough memory. Are you running a 64 bit o/s by any chance?
