Thumbs down How to downgrade from 5.0.11 to 5.04 ?

How to make downgrade with 5.0.11 on 5.0.0 or 5.0.4 without information loss? Version 5.0.0 worked well and long, 5.04 dropped out from time to time, with an upgrade to 5.0.11 problems have started.
Also, despite problems, this server works (though it is restarted forcedly each 15 minutes) and has saved up a quantity of letters in mail boxes which were to be lost no.

It's not advisable to try a downgrade, you'd be far better fixing the problems with your current server.

The first question I have to ask is why have you installed Zimbra on an unsupported version of Fedora? Bleeding edge distributions are not the best choice for a stable mail server, why don't you migrate to something stable such as CentOS, RHEL or Ununtu LTS?

In this threadyou've given not details of server load, number of zimbra users, what else the server is used for (or is it dedicated to Zimbra), is it in a VM etc., etc. The problem you're experiencing there is not normal and, as far as I know, there have been no reports of any similar behaviour.

Have you run any standalone hard ware diagnostics on the server for memory and/or HD problems, check your logs for any warning messages.

Just to ask...

Would it be possible to load 5.0 on another server and move his mailboxes over to it? I'm just thinking that maybe that would get his mail at least running while getting the original server issues fixed.
