Question FC7 setup, works then dies

Hi, i recently installed Zimbra on an FC7 setup (on openVZ) and got it all up and runnning but only briefly....

After doing zmcontrol start i can log onto my mail and i can log onto the admin but this lasts no more than 1 minute before saying i server not found... even tho it seems the server is still running????

Anyone had anything like this before???

TIA

Lormen

Welcome to the forums

Sounds like a DNS issue to be honest. Please post the following
Code:
cat /etc/hosts
cat /etc/resolv.conf
dig yourdomain mx
dig yourdomain any
host `hostname` <- note backticks and not single quotes

i don't think it DNS as i can log in to the server for a while and while i am there i can send and receive emails, never the less:
[zimbra@mail log]$ cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
# Auto-generated hostname. Please do not remove this comment.
213.175.194.90 mail.zgsolutions.co.uk mail
[zimbra@mail log]$ cat /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 217.112.88.90
nameserver 217.112.88.147

unfortunately dig isnt on this box (damn VPS) and neither is YUM or an other package manager i know.
