Question Junk is a slow learner...

I get a regular (about once a day) email from someone wanting me to buy their product. It's a place we've done business with before, but I'd rather have these emails filed into my junk folder. So, when one comes in, I log into my webmail and move it to Junk. (I use Outlook 03, so I know I've got to move it to Junk via the web client.)

The next day, I might get lucky and the message coming in that day files as Junk, as I want it to. But on the second day, it's right back in my Inbox, so I move it again to Junk. The third day, it may or may not file as Junk.

So...any suggestions? I don't want to blacklist this particular domain it's coming from, as we still do occassional business with them. The "junk" message coming in is typically a full page image.

Why not just use a filter on the senders domain name instead ? Junk will be for SPAM hits which is different to what you are wanting.

As you do business with them why not just unsubscribe from their mailing list?

I'll have to check and see if unsubscribing is an option.
