manual installation instruction

Are there any manual installation instructuon.
I already have mysql running and tomcat, just want to be able to run on my current system.

Another reason is that my develpment machine runs on windows, and thus hopefully this way i will be able to make it work on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
