Default tons of processes

so, I'm on a brand new dell poweredge 1800 and I'm attempting to install zimbra.

I ran ./install.sh and I got down to "zimbra-spell.....zimbra-spell-3.0.1.GA_160.RHEL-4-20060216140433.i386.rpm...done"

then it hangs.

On another window I run a "ps -aux" and see hundreds and hundreds of zimbra processes, like:

/bin/bash /bin/unicode_start latarcyrheb-sun16

ideas?
