Question eBox & Zimbra

Has anyone been able to get eBox and Zimbra playing nicely with each other?

I have a small office that I am migrating to eBox for their Domain Controller. They already have a Zimbra mail server that I setup for them almost a year ago and I would like to use that box to authenticate client logins. Has anyone attempted this before and have it worked successfully? I only found 2 posts on the eBox forums, but no real answer and the Zimbra forums have nothing about eBox at all when I searched.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums

eBox uses openLDAP so should be pretty simple to authenticate against. Do you have the necessary credentials to be able to bind and browse the LDAP tree ?

Default Ebox&Zimbra

Zimbra takes users from the PDC (Ebox), if user names set locally on Zimbra (password sham). :-D
if not: SoapEngine - handler exception: authentication failed for , account not found.
