Default [SOLVED] ZIMbra setup as NAT. MTA issue.

hi,

i setup my zimbra server behind a firewall and use firewall to forward port 25,110,143 to Zimbra server.

My zimbra is working fine now..just that when at home I can not able to send mail with outlook. At office...everything is working fine.

my mta network is configured as default. I have read about the guide from here and trying to add a entry to the mtamynetworks setting there...but i got error.

ZimbraMtaMyNetworks - Zimbra :: Wiki

when I use web console to update the setting...it shows CIDR error and suggest that I should put another IP address in stead the IP address i using now?????

Please assist. my users need to be able to send and receive mail at home with Outlook.

thanks.

Not sure if I understand your setup . But try using the ip address of your mail server instead of the FQDN in the server setup portion of Outlook.

Hi Bill,

I have tried setup my outlook 2007 with IP address also...it still the same...It can download emails but can not send mail.

I read thru the zimbra forum and i suspect is mta setting there....

My current MTA setting is as default 127.0.0.0/8 192.168.0.0/24. With this setting my LAN desktops are working fine to send and receive emails. But if I use outlook at home and try to send mail...it will show error and can not send mail.

I got read about zimbra forum about running a command to update postfix on the proxy_interfaces.

Do i need to do samething on my Zimbra server which running on RHEL5 ?
