    Hi All,

Zimbra by default using the port 389 for ldap without SSL, locally. And in the multi server installation also the servers communicating to the Mster LDAP server using 389 port only.

Can we use ldap+ssl for communicating between servers in a multi server installation.

    Thanks in advance

It might be using port 389 with TLS, have you checked?

    Hi Jessie,

I am not sure it is using TLS on 389, because I tried to access the addressbook from a mail client, it worked without enabling TLS and not worked when enabled TLS.

Is there any other way we can test the TLS.

    Hi Premod,

I found this thread - can you see if this helps you?

Enable LDAP over TLS _and_ SSL

    Hi Jessie / Klung,

I have a serious problem on my Production setup. As we discussed earlier I have setup two boxes in different location with all services installed in a way that one server (USA) is the LDAP master and the other (India) is the LDAP replica with external AD authentication.

Now the user authentication is happening only on the primary LDAP server (USA) but through replica LDAP server the authentication is not happening.
What will be the issue, where I can check for debug this issue.

    Thanks,
    Premod
