Server wont start error inside

I installed the latest zimbra open source edition downloaded from the site on fedora 7. But when I do zmcontrol status I get the following:

ubable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Unable to determine enables services. Cache is out of date or doesn't exist.

I never isntalled ldap option anyhow. Also I have uninstalled and reinstalled about 7 times with different combinations of stuff and this is the same error each time. Can someone give me a clue please?

Have you checked DNS settings thoroughly?
That's the problem most times...

Ok. I redid the dns and we got futher but here is the new error once we get past the setup.

Ok. DNS is fine now but the server still wont start here is what I get:

zmcontrol start
Host newmail.mydomain.com
Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Unable to determine enabled services. Cache is out of date or doesn't exist.

Anyone please?
