Default Zimbra doesn't send mail after install

Hello guys, this is my first time installing Zimbra NE in a Cluster environment, after some days of hard work i think things are going better and now i already have zimbra running in the cluster.

I can log in in the server as admin or any other user, but i can't send mail, when i enter in the webmail and write a new one and then click on "send" button it keeps waiting until it says me that there were some errors and it can send it.

Checking the logs (/var/log/zimbra.log) with a tail -f, there are some messages that repeat continiously:

Oct 2 11:54:26 znodo2 postfix/cleanup[24865]: fatal: select lock: Resource temporarily unavailable
Oct 2 11:54:27 znodo2 postfix/master[1502]: warning: process /opt/zimbra/postfix/libexec/cleanup pid 24865 exit status 1
Oct 2 11:54:27 znodo2 postfix/master[1502]: warning: /opt/zimbra/postfix/libexec/cleanup: bad command startup -- throttling
Oct 2 11:54:48 znodo2 postfix/showq[25502]: fatal: select lock: Resource temporarily unavailable
Oct 2 11:54:49 znodo2 postfix/master[1502]: warning: process /opt/zimbra/postfix/libexec/showq pid 25502 exit status 1
Oct 2 11:54:49 znodo2 postfix/master[1502]: warning: /opt/zimbra/postfix/libexec/showq: bad command startup -- throttling

and less oftently..:

Oct 2 11:55:01 znodo2 sendmail[18279]: m929o1qk018279: timeout waiting for input from [127.0.0.1] during client greeting
Oct 2 11:55:01 znodo2 sendmail[18279]: m929o1qk018279: to=zimbra, ctladdr=zimbra (500/500), delay=00:05:00, xdelay=00:05:00, mailer=relay, pri=30377, relay=[127.0.0.1] [127.0.0.1], dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection timed out with [127.0.0.1]
Oct 2 11:55:08 znodo2 postfix/tlsmgr[26149]: fatal: cannot lock PRNG exchange file /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.4.7.5z/conf/prng_exch: Resource temporarily unavailable

Any help will be appreciated! thanks!

Does /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.4.7.5z/conf/ directory exist?
Is this a single or multi-volume customer install?
Running postconf -e config_directory=/opt/zimbra/postfix/conf might also solve the issue.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for answering.

Yes /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.4.7.5z/conf does exist.

Why do you mean by single or multiple custome install? do you mean the volumes in SAN? it's a single one.

When i do postconf -e ... it says me "command not found"

What kind of SAN volume are you using? Can you post the output of /bin/mount

In fact, this setup is kind of a prototype for a customer, and he had some problems with the delivery of storage at time, so we are simulating it with a NFS volume while the SAN arrives.

There are two nodes in the cluster (active - pasive, Red Hat Cluster Suite) and a third machine that is providing the storage via NFS.

Although we don't recommend deploying on NFS volumes because of these types of problems. You'll probably have better luck if you use the following mount options, specifically the nolock mount option.

rw,hard,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,intr,nfsvers=3,tcp ,nolock,actimeo=600
