Default Help uninstalling

Help! I foolishly installed zimbra on a Mac OS X server(10.4.5) that primarily is used for open directory, but also for internal email, and web serving. I should have read the documentation about other servers first etc. but I agree with others who have posted that some warnings in the installer are warranted.
I won't say it has hosed everything because it hasn't, but my internal email no longer works, plus the install does not seem to have completed.
Using Apple's Server Admin, I try to turn mail on but it will not go on, nor will the Zimbra web control come up. How do I get rid of Zimbra and it's components and get my mail working again?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

You don't like reading or searching do you?

Lots of hits in search for uninstall. Check out similar threads below, for more options...

Default read enough without getting anywhere

I read the quick install guide and the Administrators guide without seeing anything about uninstalling. Perusing (no, not searching) the forums only produced fixes for problem installs. If it is such a commonly asked question on the forums possibly it should make a better appearance in the manuals.
Thanks for pointing me straight to an answer.
J.
