Default [SOLVED] What is the best way to upgrade 4.0.3 to 5.0.9

Hi,

I have a zimbra open source 4.5.3 version and i want to upgrade it to 5.0.9 version.

First, is that possible?, without to compromise the stability and performance.

What can i do, and what is the best path?

I download all the versions from 4.5.3 to 5.0.9, i have to upgrade from 4.5.3 to 4.5.4 and so on, til i have 5.0.9 up an running

Or i can jump from 4.5.5, and then to 4.5.11, and then to 5.0.0, and this to 5.0.9

Thank you very much,

Williammr

-Backup <-Can never stress that enough.
-I'm assuming you don't need an OS platform change.
-No you don't have to hop through each.
4.0.3 > 4.0.5 > 4.5.x > 4.5.11 > 5.0.9 is a decent route.
Where 4.5.x = something like 4.5.3/.4/.5/.6/.7/.8
(Note that 4.5.6 has slight clamav bug that can often halt mail delivery, but ok if you immediately plan to move on though.)
Avoiding the lower 5.0.x's you can skip a few certs issues and other upgrade kinks we've worked out.

4.5.3 > 4.5.11 > 5.0.9

Default The best way i found is

Hi,

I did a very good upgrade without problems with this path:

4.5.3->4.5.6->4.5.11->5.0.2->5.0.9

Now my system is on 5.0.9 and my clients are so happy

Thank you very much
