upgrading problem

I am trying to upgrade from 4.5.10 to 5.0.9.
The upgrade fails with:

mysql startup failed with exit code 1

Below is the full log of the upgrade.

Due to the way the server is set up (not enough room on /opt) I have linked /opt/zimbra to a directory under /home. Could this be the problem or is it some other known issue?

You can try to edit /etc/fstab and map /opt into another location in which you have enough free space.
