Default _postifix error on mta startup

Have a Mac OS X Server running 10.5.4, ZCS upgraded to 5.0.9 from 4.5.6.

Initially, the upgrade went smoothly, but suddenly, when trying to start the mta, I'm getting this message:

postmap: fatal: file /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.4.7.5z/conf/main.cf: parameter mail_owner: user postfix has same user ID as _postfix
postalias: fatal: file /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.4.7.5z/conf/main.cf: parameter mail_owner: user postfix has same user ID as _postfix
postfix failed to start

I've edited the "mail_owner" to be "_postfix" instead of "postfix"

and the "set_gid" group to "_postdrop" instead of "postdrop"

I've gone ahead and fixed permissions, but when I restart Zimbra, the file is apparently overwritten with the bad values from above?

Where would I permanently change the value to _postfix and _postdrop?

We're not able to send any email on this server right now.

Can you elaborate what you did to upgrade from Mac OS X v10.4 running ZCS 4.5.6 to Mac OS X v10.5 running ZCS 5.0.9?

You need to make sure you are using the right version of ZCS for the operating system you have. Based on the error it sounds like you installed a 10.4 version of ZCS on a 10.5 system.

That's quite possible, but at some point I know I upgraded to the 10.5 version. I actually got it working by changing the permissions on the /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf directory, but am wondering where the values in main.cf actually come from....

Should I just treat is as a move, and install fresh, then bring back the data?
